We are going through tons of changes too that I would never have expected, but God is in control.cal+clairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12208618177198840547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522835003867619792.post-45664780162004029882012-01-04T09:04:22.151-06:002012-01-04T09:04:22.151-06:00Alison,

I didn't think we'd be doing this either, but God did. When I get discouraged I remember how the people of Israel were in the desert and would make little towers or markers to remember the story of what God did in that place. I try to do this in my own life. So when I get discouraged I pull out of my "pocket" the memory of when God had perfect timing and the impossible became possible.

We are going to look back at this journey of waiting and see how God knew best and His timing was, and always will be, perfect.

xoxo
Hang in there.Home Project Managerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14220385471730173822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522835003867619792.post-9988455275446903722012-01-04T06:38:30.244-06:002012-01-04T06:38:30.244-06:00We have been listening to the Chronicles of Narnia...We have been listening to the Chronicles of Narnia audio book with our kids in the car recently. At one point, the children are talking to Aslan, trying to find out why something happened to another character. The great lion gently reminds them: "Aslan will only tell you your own story." This has been such a comfort to me in the adoption process as I am tempted to pace around, wondering why someone else had a different experience----but Aslan is telling me MY story and only my story! You can't surprise God & you can't disappoint him because he knew everything we were gonna do and when we were gonna do it far before we had even thought about it. What shocks us is old news to him ;)Jared and Erica Winglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09057104632536038418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522835003867619792.post-4099012958968476082012-01-04T00:30:59.009-06:002012-01-04T00:30:59.009-06:00Oh, I'm soooo with you!
