On Friday afternoon, we received an email from our case worker with our new number for November...
# 74!!! Yep, we are now officially on the AGCI girl waitlist at #74! And I love it because we know that we are really at #73 (unofficially) because there has already been another girl referral! YAY!!
Our agency has a listserv where lots of the families in the Ethiopia adoption program communicate with each other. It's such an encouraging and supportive group of families! And lots of families will post when they get their referral, so we get to rejoice with them...and keep track of our "unofficial" number!
So, everytime a family on the girl list gets a referral, we move down a spot! This has been so much fun to keep up with! All of our kids know that we are now #73, and they talk about it all the time! :) We have moved 20 spots since we got on the waitlist on September 17th...LOVE IT!!
And we LOVE that so many orphans are being placed in wonderful families...and that we are moving closer to our precious Caroline Faith!! A great reason to REJOICE!!

yaaaaaaaaaay! How exciting that it's moving quickly! Praise the Lord! I'm predicting the end of spring or beginning of summer for you! :)
So excited that these babies are making their way out of the orphanage into their HOMES!! It's wonderful to watch the Lord work!

What joyous news! Your family will have a very meaningful Thanksgiving this year! I know when we celebrated the holidays while we were in the wait mode of our adoptions, it was so much fun to think: This is THE LAST Thanksgiving, THE LAST Christmas, THE LAST Easter, etc. that our little bundle of joy had to experience without a family!
Gives me goose bumps to think about it.
We are loving all this movement!!! I don't know about you, but I'm totally attached to the unofficial list! Great that we're so close to you all. : )
