Look What God Provided!!!

Yep, God provided the "Caroline" sign for us!!!

I went to bed last night praying that if God wanted us to have the sign for Caroline Faith, that HE would totally provide for it!

For some reason, I didn't feel good about just going back to the store and spending $40 on it. BUT, I knew that this would be so special for Caroline to have one day...to show her how much she was being LOVED and PRAYED FOR even before she was home!

Well, Caty and I were just leaving lunch yesterday, and an email popped up on my phone. It was from my sweet mother-in-law, and here's what it said...

"Gammy and Pops would love to buy the "Caroline" sign for our granddaughter's room...our gift to her!"

I was so excited!! I knew immediately that this was how God had chosen to provide the sign for us...through Jody's parents! I emailed her back telling her THANK YOU so much, and how I had just prayed for God's provision the night before!

So, we did a quick detour and headed to the consignment store to purchase the sign. No time like the present! :) I was really hoping they would let me buy it, because it was actually an "example" piece. They sell these handmade signs that a local girl makes from wood from old barns in Mississippi...every piece is unique! Anyway, the "Caroline" sign was one that they had on display to show.

Well, I told them that we are adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia, who we are naming Caroline Faith! They were so sweet and so excited for us! And they said, "YES!"...they would let us purchase the sign! YAY!!! Thank you, Jesus! I can't wait to hang it in her room!

Then, we later got home to see THIS waiting for us in the mail...

the "Baby Caroline" doll!! I was so excited to win a recent giveaway!! She let me choose which doll, so of course I chose the "Caroline" doll! :) Love it!

I dont know how you all do it, picking out the name before hand, it's ever so pretty. Michael and I keep changing our "considering list". Not to mention we dont know the gender either. Did you all just like the name or is there a story behind it?

Love the sign!
