My precious friend, Kristen, sent me this gift in the mail last week...
a BLESSING RING for Caroline Faith!!!
I love it!!! I have never had a blessing ring for any of our other children! I had really never even heard of them until a few months ago. Well, awhile ago Kristen asked me if anyone had given us a blessing ring for Caroline Faith. I told her they hadn't. So a few weeks later, sweet Kristen sent this precious blessing ring to me with lots of cute, girly ribbons, a wooden "C" and this note...
So the idea is that you put notes, cards, Bible verses, or any other special things in between the ribbons on the ring! So neat! Well, I had a pile of cards and notes that people have sent to us and Caroline Faith over the last 15 months that were all just sitting in a drawer. I have saved everything for her, but I didn't really have a good place to keep them all. And now I do! :)
I just love the blessing ring because it's such a neat way to have all of her notes and cards together so she can always see them and be reminded of how much she is loved!
I put the ring together this weekend, and it was so special for me just to be able to read back through them again! It was just another reminder of God's faithfulness! We are so blessed to have such sweet friends and family who have given us so much encouragement and love on this adoption journey! We are counting our blessings!!!

I have never heard of the blessing ring. What a neat idea!
I've never heard of this, but what a great idea!!! Oh, and welcome to the 20's! Would LOVE to travel with you... maybe, maybe!
What a wonderful idea!!
I recently came across your blog and I love knowing that a child will be adopted into your family. My husband and myself are also in the process of adopting a little girl, hopefully within the next few years. I was writing to see if you would like to do a Thirty One Fundrasier for your adoption funds? I sell Thirty One (www.mythirtyone.com/taraw) and I would love to offer you profits of a fundrasier for the month of September. If you are interested, let me know by emailing me at tlc1982@aol.com. Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Tara
