I was so excited to get home from Tupelo and find a Thanksgiving SURPRISE in our big pile of mail...
Our USCIS Favorable Determination Letter (FDL)!!!
This is basically the approval of our Form I-600A, Application for Advance Processing of Orphan Petition, that we submitted right after we got on the AGCI waitlist!
YAY!!! I was not expecting to get it so soon! We received our FDL only 8 days after our fingerprinting appointments! This is the last piece of paperwork before our referral paperwork. So, we are now officially "referral ready" for Caroline Faith!!!
Loved seeing that we are now officially approved to bring our baby girl home from Ethiopia!! Just makes it all seem so REAL!!!!
Our fingerprints will expire 15 months from now and the FDL will expire in 18 months, so we are praying that Caroline Faith will be HOME before either of these expire!
