It's EVERYWHERE!!

Have there ever been times in your life where EVERYWHERE you turn it seems like the Lord is giving you the same message?

We are definitely in one of those seasons!!

Most of ya'll know how God gave us Hebrews 11:1 as the verse that we were supposed to claim over our adoption journey for Caroline Faith. I posted more about that HERE.

Anyway, throughout this journey, this verse has just seemed to appear EVERYWHERE!!! But we know that this is not some crazy coincidence, it is GOD! He is continually reminding us that He is in control of our adoption journey, and that we have to put all of our FAITH and HOPE only in Him!

I have been thinking lately about how I need to order some prints of our adoption journey pictures and put them in an album. Well, last week I was flipping through the Lifeway flyer that came in the mail, and look at what I saw...

Ummmm...how perfect is that?!! A cute photo album with our verse, Hebrews 11:1, on it!

Yep, I went that day and bought one! I wasn't about to risk them selling out of these before I could get one! So excited about filling it with pictures from our journey!

Well, then today I was reading (on the elliptical, of course) some in "Choosing to SEE" by Mary Beth Chapman. Look at what I just saw about an hour ago as I was reading...

Hebrews 11:1 again!! And I love what Mary Beth says about it because it's so true in our adoption journey too.

We don't have all the answers. And in fact, we don't have any of the answers. There are so many unknowns in this journey and nothing is in our control. But she's so right, if we did have all the answers and we knew exactly how this journey would play out, then there would be no need for FAITH and HOPE!

God is just giving me reminder after reminder of that. His faith reminders have been EVERYWHERE throughout this journey! So today, I am choosing to listen once again and praise the One who knows all the answers and is in total control of our journey!

"We wait in HOPE for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our HOPE in you." Psalm 33:20-22

God is so AMAZING!! Love when He shows you you're right where you're supposed to be. And what a cute photo album!

Hebrews 11:1 was the very first Bible verse I ever memorized. :)

Love how God works! And gives us HOPE! I love following your journey. Ethiopia is still very close to my heart even though God has chosen for us to finish the amazing path that we are on! But you never know! I'm living vicariously through you guys,K?

I have to tell you that I saw those same products in the Lifeway Magazine a while ago and I instantly thought of your family because I remembered that this was the life verse/name you chose for your daughter and I said a little prayer for you all! :) Love how the Lord can remind even strangers to pray for others' little ones :)

How cool! It had me thinking of that Britt Nicole song I have on my ipod that challenges me every time I hear it... and then the song started playing on your blog! haha - so neat how God works!

My dad always says coincidences are God's way of staying anonymous.

God's not staying very anonymous in your life, is He?

Isn't it so cool to watch how God works His plan into our everyday lives, if we just take notice?

By the way, I saw Carroll B. last night and he was telling me about the fish fry at Jay's house. We plan on being there to show our support for your family.

This was a good reminder for me today. I am in a season right now where I feel like everywhere I turn the Lord is giving me the message. For me I feel He is saying "Trust Me."

Thanks for reminding me again how faithful and good our God is.

We are coming to Jackson tomorrow morning, but I know it's a school day for you. I would love to see you again, so we will have to come back sometime soon.

Alison, I have been following your blog for a couple of months and just haven't commented yet. I have been a stalker and am now de-lurking!:) Anyway, we are currently in the homestudy process for Ethiopia right now and it's neat to "meet" other people on the journey though looks like you're several months ahead! Can't wait for the day you get your referral. It's exciting!! We would love to be a part of Caroline Faith's journey, even though it is in such a small way... I was wondering two things: 1)Are your bracelets still for sale? I would LOVE to get one but wasn't sure if I just clicked on the link to do that and 2) How did you get AGCI's button on your side bar? We are adopting through them and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the html code. Blessings to you and your family!

Messages straight from the Lord are so, so sweet. He has a special place in his heart for orphans and I think he honors those who honor that. Enjoy the romance of the King!
