Today, October 17th, 2011 marks our 13 MONTH waitlist anniversary for Caroline Faith!!!
This time last year we were officially at #83 on the waitlist for our baby girl! We are eagerly awaiting our official October number for this year! We are hopeful for the TEENS, but it could be that we are still in the low 20's! I am thinking that we will find out very soon!
Well, all of my other monthly waitlist anniversary posts, I have titled "2 Months and Counting", "3 Months and Counting", etc. But now that we have gone past the one year mark, the posts will be titled "13 Months and Hoping", "14 Months and Hoping", etc.
Our adoption agency, AGCI, is still saying that our estimated waitlist time frame is 12-18 months. Now that we have finally reached that time frame on the waitlist, every month we will be HOPING and PRAYING that this will be the month that we see our daughter's face! And of course, I hope that we don't have too many of these monthly waitlist anniversary posts left! :)
To our precious Caroline Faith,
You are so loved...first and foremost, by your Heavenly Father. He created you perfectly, and He loves you so. Your family here in Mississippi is literally aching to have you in our arms. God created you to fit perfectly in our family. We love you so.
We have spent 13 months "officially waiting" for you, although it's been almost 2 years since God told me of His plan for you to join our family. What an amazing 2 year journey it has been! At times it has been emotional and hard, but I wouldn't trade one second of it. God is giving us joy and peace in the wait for you, and we are thankful.
Your two big sisters and big brother talk about you constantly! They are so ready for their baby sister to come home! Just today, Carson told me that he will help carry you around, but he doesn't want to change any diapers! :) They pray for you every night. Caty wants to set up your crib yesterday! She can't wait! Callie Grace has so many things already waiting for you when you get home. She is still hopeful that we will have your picture by Christmas!
I know that God has a perfect plan for when you will come HOME. We are hoping and praying that day will come soon! We trust Him fully. We know that He is taking care of you and holding you close.
Hold on baby girl, we love you and we're coming soon.
"The Lord does not delay His promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you..." 2 Peter 3:9
