So, Erin, my sweet sis-in-law has been working on distressing the baby crib! She is almost finished, and it is looking SO GREAT!!!
Here are the two end pieces of the crib!
This is a little closer up, so ya'll can see the detail! I just LOVE it!!! Erin has done such an amazing job, and I am so thankful! She says she doesn't mind working on it in the heat because it's worth it for her precious niece! I agree!!! Now, all she has left to do are the side rails and it will be DONE!
I brought the finished pieces inside and put them in a closet next to Caroline Faith and Caty's room. Remember we're not setting up the crib until we get Caroline Faith's referral! Jody thinks I am way too emotional to be looking at an empty crib every day, and I think I'm gonna have to agree with him! :)
I am longing for the day when we get it all set up and put the baby bedding on it! It's been way too long since I set up a baby crib...I can't wait to do it again!!!

beautiful!! Is it pink? I just bought my daughter her first twin bed. And my project for it is to paint it baby pink and distress it.
I think the crib looks great so far. Praying that you get to put it together soon:)

What a cool idea. SOOO looking forward to seeing it all put together with the bedding and everything on it. Even more so, the whole room and ALL of Caroline's things situated and decorated. I'm getting excited for you just thinking about it :-) Soon, my friend, very soon!
