23.

I believe that God does MIRACLES each and every day.  We feel like we have been living out a miracle story that only He could author.  Our hearts are full, and we are humbled, blessed and so grateful.

On November 23, 2012, a tiny, sick, and malnourished, but LOVED 3 month old baby girl came into the gates of Hannah's Hope in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  God's restoration and healing miracle was already beginning.

On November 23, 2012, half a world away in Oxford, Mississippi, a waiting family spent the day after Thanksgiving celebrating Uncle Drew's birthday at an Ole Miss Rebel basketball game.  All the while, praying for a baby girl in Ethiopia who they loved but had never met.

Exactly 6 months later, on May 23, 2012, that same waiting family was waiting no more!!!  With one phone call at 1:08 pm, God allowed their longing and sadness to be turned to JOY!!!  After 3 years in the adoption process, they had a referral for an ADORABLE 9 month old baby girl in Ethiopia!

Then exactly 2 months after that amazing phone call, on July 23, 2012, those same parents attended Ethiopian court to become parents to that ADORABLE now 11 month old baby girl.  And because of God's grace, that precious baby girl was no longer an orphan but a beloved daughter!!!

And on that same day, a THANKFUL mama fed her beautiful daughter a bottle for the very first time!

Now, exactly one month later, on August 23, 2013, that same Mama prays for that same sweet 12 month old daughter to soon be in her arms once again.  She is praying that the coming week will bring GOOD NEWS that they will be on their way back to Ethiopia to bring their daughter home!

"For His anger is but for a moment,
and His favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but JOY comes with the morning."
Psalm 30:5

Can't wait to see your feet hit U.S. soil with her in your arms. What a day that is gonna be and it's so close! Covering you in prayer as you ache to have her in your arms this morning.

Allison - I looked and i can't find it (cause it may not be available.) I have some questions about adoption -- is there a email address I could ask you some questions at?
