He's Working on Her Behalf!

God used this devotion to encourage me so much this morning! I actually remember reading it last year at this same time, and it was so encouraging then to.  It was so neat because I later had 2 different friends text and message me this too!  So sweet!  God is reminding me of His faithfulness, and that He is working on our daughter's behalf.

Jesus Calling devotional for December 11...

I AM WORKING ON YOUR BEHALF.

Bring me all your concerns, including your dreams.  Talk with me about everything, letting the Light of My Presence shine on your hopes and plans...

Do not try to hurry this process.  If you want to work with Me, you have to accept My time frame.  Hurry is not in My nature.  Abraham and Sarah had to wait many years for the fulfillment of My promise, a son.  How their long wait intensified their enjoyment of this child!

Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.  (Hebrews 11:1)

Not sure I've ever commented here before, but I had to tonight. I was just feeling sorry for myself when I read your post tonight. "If you want to work with Me, you have to accept My time frame." Yep, that's right!

LOVE that God reminded you again and again today of these promises!! He IS working on your behalf and on behalf of precious Caroline Faith!!

As I read these words this morning, I felt God ministering to my heart and then I just had this overwhelming sense to reach out to you to make sure you read this today. I am certain it was the Holy Spirit intervening. He loves you dearly, sweet friend. And I know He is writing the most beautiful story with your family. I cannot wait to read the next chapter!!

hugs to you tonight!!!

I just had to comment and say the same happened to me today! I re-read this and remembered how impactful and convicting it was last year, and was encouraged by it again this year by friends sharing with me too ;) I also read 2 samuel 7 today and it's such good stuff for our season. He is God, His promises are true, and He will confirm what he's said...forever!
